If you have a baby or are expecting, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale has some pretty good baby gear on sale! I did a lot of research while I was pregnant last year and for some big items, like strollers or car seats, the Anniversary sale had the biggest savings. Plus, you get bonus savings if you have Nordstrom Notes saved up! Here are some of the items I think are worth checking out.
I got the Nuna PIPA RX Lite from last year’s Anniversary sale for the same price and we love it! The RX Lite has since been discontinued but the RX is pretty much the same thing. I could’ve gotten the Nuna TRVL + PIPA urbn stroller system, but I just felt more secure having the base in our cars. (The PIPA urbn doesn’t have a base and you have to strap it in with the car seat.) I’m so glad we got this one because it’s so easy to click the car seat in and take it out, especially when baby is sleeping.
The TRVL LX + PIPA urbn stroller system is a steal for $699.99! The TRVL on its own is $450 and the PIPA is $450, too – although they do not sell the urbn by itself. We also got the TRVL and we love it! Some moms tell me they like having a bigger, sturdier stroller, but I really love how easy it is to open and close it with one hand, it’s super light, and fits in my small sedan trunk easily. Any of the PIPA car seats will click into the stroller and it’s perfect for if baby falls asleep on the car ride – just pull out the car seat from the base and click it into the stroller!
The Nuna RAVA Car Seat is another great option. Clearly, I love Nuna as a brand! I’ve been super happy with the products we’ve gotten and have heard great things from other moms. I think the RAVA is better if you want something that will stay in your car and will last until your child gets bigger. The RAVA is rated from birth until 65 lbs whereas the PIPA is rated until about 32 lbs.
If you’re looking specifically for a travel stroller and wanted something other than Nuna, I’ve heard great things about the Joolz AER+ Travel Stroller. I joined a few Facebook mom groups and a lot of them rave about how compact this one is – I think it may get even smaller than the Nuna TRVL when folded! I was just set on the Nuna because the car seat will click into it.
The BabyBjorn Bouncer is one of my MUST haves! Ironically, it was one of the few things we didn’t get from our registry originally and we bought shortly after baby was born. It keeps her distracted while I’m pumping or bounces her if she’s too heavy for me to carry. Plus, it keeps her propped up so she can look around. The Bouncer from the Anniversary sale is a great deal because it comes with the toy and travel bag. To be honest, we haven’t been in a situation where we needed to take the bouncer with us but we did buy this toy attachment off of Amazon because the BabyBjorn toy attachment is $59 by itself!
The Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair is a classic baby item! It’s been around since the 1970s and parents still love it! It grows with baby and adults can even sit in it. The set on sale comes with the baby set, cushion, and tray — if you bought these separately, it would come out to $220+!! To be honest, this may be the only thing I get from the sale, but I’m still debating!
What baby items did you get from the sale?
